I design and make gardens with plants at the centre and materials used deliberately, with purpose and for impact.
My background outside horticulture shaped how I work with people and place but garden making is where that thinking now lives. Every project begins with how a space feels, is used, how it matures and how it will be cared for over time.
Where possible, I prioritise lighter-impact approaches, strong soil health and planting supports biodiversity, without letting any of that dominate the design. Balance matters, visually, practically and ecologically.
I’m not a building firm disguised as a garden company. The work is led by you, plants and structure follow, annd everything is designed to last.
An Approach, Not a Style
Plant-led decisions - Every garden begins with planting that will mature well, support soil health and shape the space over time.
Materials with purpose - Hard landscaping is used sparingly and only where it adds clarity and structure.
Care built in - Gardens are designed to be maintained thoughtfully, not fought or forced.
Our Process
Conversation
I begin with a site visit and a proper conversation about the garden, how it’s used and what matters most over time.
Design and Making
Design develops from the plants up with materials introduced deliberately. Where projects include construction everything is clearly planned before work begins.
Care and continuity
Gardens are designed to be maintained thoughtfully. Ongoing care ensures the space matures as intended rather than being constantly reworked.
